About Me

Laura Mote, LICSW

As a therapist, I am direct but full of curiosity, down-to-earth, and non-judgmental.  I will walk alongside you in the therapeutic process.  I am dedicated to working with individuals searching for guidance with anxiety, depression, stress/burnout due to work or personal issues, self-esteem issues, behavioral problems or mood disorders.  I work with individuals across all life stages.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Alaska and a Masters in Social Work from Walla Walla University.  I have worked in the helping field for 20 years, and more specifically as a Therapist for the past 9 years.  I am level one certified in Natural Lifemanship’s Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (TF-EAP) program and continue to advance my skill set.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my dogs, reading, and being in nature.
